Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between a dietitian, nutritionist, and nutritional therapist?

This is such an important question — especially when investing in your health.

  •  The title “Dietitian” is legally protected in the UK, and only professionals who are registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) can use it.
  • Dietitians are trained to treat medical conditions such as IBS, IBD, and coeliac disease using evidence-based care.
  • ‘Nutritionist’ and ‘Nutritional Therapist’ are not protected titles — while some are highly qualified, others may not be regulated or accredited.

When choosing a practitioner, it’s worth checking qualifications and whether they are registered with a professional body.

Do I need a formal diagnosis to work with you?

A diagnosis can be helpful for tailoring your plan, but it’s not essential. Many clients are still in the process of getting answers when they begin.

During our free 15-minute consultation, I can also help guide you to the right professionals if needed.

Do you offer payment plans?

I don’t currently offer payment plans. However, I’m happy to help you explore the best-fit package for your needs and budget during a free call.

Do you provide meal plans?

I don’t offer rigid meal plans — and here’s why:

Evidence shows they rarely work long-term. Instead, I provide recipe ideas, food frameworks, and strategies tailored to your lifestyle so that changes are practical and sustainable.

Is text or message support included?

This depends on your chosen package:

  • The HC Reclaim Package includes weekly 15-minute accountability check-ins.
  • I’m always happy to answer occasional admin-related queries between sessions.
  • If you’d like ongoing text support for personalised dietary questions, this can be added as an optional upgrade.
I’m not sure which package I need — where should I start?

Start with a free 15-minute consultation. We’ll talk through your symptoms, goals, and schedule to help you choose the best support option — no pressure at all.
